The St Peter's Canal itself is not the best place for a diver, since there is lots of boat traffic in the summer time. But the Atlantic side of the Canal offers easy entry and exit and is safe from the boat traffic. You will find many little critters like lobster and flounders, but in the late summer time you also get the chance to see some squid.
