Here, where the beautiful Bras d'Or Lake and the Atlantic Ocean are as close as friends are, is the home of Sporting-Mountain Cottages.
Nestled in the woods around the mountaintop are our three bright and spacious Cottages, each offering a fully equipped kitchen, a 4-piece bathroom and a living room with satellite TV.
We want you to feel at home!
Whether you just want to relax or to be active, the possibilities are endless.
The trails around the cottages invite you to take long strolls through the woods. A ten minute walk takes you right to the banks of the beautiful Bras d'Or Lake, where our private beach is waiting for you.

Close distances to most of Cape Breton's and Northern Nova Scotia Mainland
Attractions will give you the opportunity for perfect day trips.
Cape Breton Island has received numerous Awards from mayor Travel Agencies and National Geographic.
Relax and enjoy your vacation at Sporting-Mountain Cottages, where you also can get close to our dogs, cats, budgies, sled-dogs, chicken and rabbits.

Cape Breton Island is easy to reach:
From Europe: within 6 hours from all mayor Airports you will arrive in Halifax.
Nova Scotia is 5 hours behind Central Europe time.

From Halifax, Mainland Nova Scotia:
Highway 102:
Halifax - Truro - New Glasgow - Antigonish - Canso Causeway/Cape Breton - Port Hawkesbury
- at the rotary behind the Canso Causeway, turn right towards Port Hawkesbury
- stay on the road through Port Hawkesbury until you come to a traffic light,where you can only turn left or right
- turn left
- Follow the old Highway No 4 towards Cleveland, Dundee Golf Resort ( not 104 towards St Peter's )
- After about 15 minutes you will cross the River Inhabitants on the MacLean'sbridge.
- Turn left immediately after the bridge and directly right again towards West Bay, Dundee
- After another 10 Minutes you will reach the only junction where you can turn right towards Dundee, St
Georges Channel
- turn right at this junction and follow this road along the Bras d'Or Lake
- Once you reach the Dundee Resort, keep going for another 7km. Look out for a big blue garbage box on
your right hand side and our 4x8 signs Sporting Mountain Cottages.
- Follow up the gravel driveway for about 1km until you see our "Welcome" sign

On google map, just type in Sporting Mountain Cottages or Easy Dive Canada and follow the directions.
Make sure the address is entered correctly. Enjoy your trip!!!
